Discovering “Le Virtù”

 

Le Virtù is a traditional dish of the Abruzzese cuisine that is prepared on May 1st, with the advent of spring. It consists of a rich soup, created with the remains of winter food stocks, such as: dried legumes, fresh vegetables, and meat.

History tells us that the ancient Romans already used to prepare this dish on the first day of May and to share it with other people.
Today the tradition does not change. In fact, in Abruzzo region the 1st May is still celebrated with this soup in memory of the past winter and with the hope of a fruitful spring.

The brand was born after years of experience gained in catering. With the discovery and research of new products and their manipulation, we were able to create top quality dishes with the idea of rediscovering the authentic flavour of the products we use every day.

Our motto is “Eat Well, Eat Healthy”, and with this we want to rediscover the pleasure of food and the search of raw materials which allow you to discover unique flavours.
